Oxkintok is an interesting archaeological site located 61 km from Kopoma by the same highway in the State of Yucatan, Mexico. Oxkintok is characterized for the existence of a labyrinth-like construction, considered as unique in the entire State of Yucatan. It is of exceptional interest site, the name means "three flint sun-stones". The excavated structures at Oxkintok mainly consist of three building complexes, around plazas and sub-plazas in usual Maya style.
The most famous building at Oxkintok, however, is the Satunsat or Labyrinth, a small squat pyramid built into the hill on the west side of the main plaza, believed to represent a trip to the underworld. Located in the westernmost region of the Puuc, 70 km to the south of Merida, in the state of Yucatan. .
