Zempoala is situated 47 km to the north of
the
Port of Veracruz City by the federal highway 180 in the State of
Veracruz, Mexico.
The Zempoala archaeological zone
has vestiges of the Totonaca culture.
Among Zempoala main
constructions the visitor can see some ruins of the Ceremonial Center of the Great
Totonacapan such as:
