Teayo Veracruz, Mexico68 km away from Tuxpan port, Castillo de Teayo is an acknowledged site for its archeological importance. Original named Tzapotitlan, this place was abandon while colonial time and repopulated during the XIX century, around the pyramid.

This pyramid, is located in the central square of the town, was monument of religious use. Apparently employed by several native cultures, the pyramid represents a valuable archeological monument.
