Tamiahua

Tamiahua township, is 41 km away from Tuxpan, it’s located in front of the Tamiahua's lagoon, ideal spot to rest and fishing with a landscape which invites you to relax. The fishing techniques using “estacadas” or “charangas” reflects the heredity of the knowledge of the settler's ancestors. The shrimp fishing and the oyster raising are bless activities for the lagoon's particular ecological condition: low deep and swampy waters.

The location offers excellent gastronomy based in the zone fishing products, prepared plates by the local procedure. Boat rides by the lagoon and the seascape tours, like the excursion by “Barra de Corazones” (Hearth's line), are the characteristic activities offered to the tourist.
