Santiago Tuxtla

 

Santiago Tuxtla is located 140 km to the southeast of the Port of Veracruz City in the State of Veracruz, Mexico.

Santiago Tuxtla includes a region known as Los Tuxtlas, which is characterized because of its abundant vegetation and warm climate.

One of Santiago Tuxtla main attractions is the Tuxteco Museum, where a collection of pieces from the Olmec culture is exhibited.

Nearby of Santiago Tuxtla you can visit the archaeological zone Tres Zapotes, where there is a museum and a significant Olmecan style.
