Day 01:
La Venta Canyon
- Aguacero waterfall, Fosa de las Cotorras
- Reception
at
Tuxtla Gutierrez
airport.
- Transfer to the Venta Canyon for the visit of the El Aguacero waterfall
to make this visit is necessary to descend 624 steps
- Time to swim and walk
into the canyon
- Including box lunch or
lunch at local restaurant
- Continue to Cima del
Copal o Fosa de las Cotorras (Top of copal or Pit of the Parrots),
2 hours visit of this karst pit with a hike in the reserve
- Lodging in cabins
- Rest of the afternoon

Day 02:
08:00 hrs.
Apic Pac - Fosa de las
Cotorras - Tuxtla Gutierrez
- At 08:00, departure to
Apic Pac community, where we take motor boat for a ride to visit the
waterfall Santa Cruz with a hiking of 400 meters aprox.
- Continue to the Lajas
(Slabs) where we descend from the boat to walk and see a series of
waterfalls and alight with possibilities to take a refreshing swim
- Continuing to "The
Cave of Parrots" sort of cave of almost 700 meters, where we enter on
the boat to see the interesting rock formations, when the water level is
low we enter walking becoming an interesting experience
- Lunch included on a
local ranch
- Back to Apic Pac
community
- Continue to
Tuxtla Gutierrez
city
- Hotel accommodation
- Free time to visit the
Marimba Park.

03:
Sumidero Canyon - San Cristobal
de las Casas
- Breakfast
- Leaving
Tuxtla Gutierrez
we continue with a visit from the viewpoints of the canyon to see the
panoramic views
- Continue to Cahuare
pier where we take the motor boat to make the 2 hour trip into the
Sumidero
Canyon
- Lunch included in a
local restaurant
- Continue to
San Cristobal
de las Casas
- Hotel accommodation

04:
07:30 hrs.
Tonina - Agua Azul and
Misol-ha waterfalls
- Drive
to Ocosingo
to
visit the magnificent archaeological site of
Tonina,
place of celestial wars of duality and the underworld, a place of
monumental architecture with vestiges of art modeled in stucco reliefs,
sculptures and museum site (closed on Mondays).

Continue to
Agua Azul
waterfalls with lunch.
- Continue to Mishol - ha,
27 mtrs. waterfalls
- and then
to Palenque.
- Accommodations in
the hotel.
- Overnight.

Day 05:

Bonampak
- Yaxchilan - Lacan-Ha

Drive
to Lacandona Forest with breakfast
on the route.
- Visit the archeological site of
Bonampak,
where we see the walls painted a masterpiece of Maya art
- Continue to Frontera Corozal in a motorboat over the Usumacinta river to
Yaxchilan archeological site
- Visit Yaxchilan city steeped in Mayan Chiapas jungle with its monumental
temples and stelae full of imagery that can recreate a past full of
splendor
- Return to Frontera Corozal in boat
- Lunch included in a local restaurant

Continue to Lacan-Ha a Lacandon community

Day 06:
08:00 hrs.
Lacan-ha, Mactuni-ha
waterfalls
- Breakfast
- The walk starts along
the path in the lush vegetation of the Lacandon jungle with a resident
- In the visit we cross
small streams, walking on logs or in the water, (bring shoes appropriate
for walking in the water)
- Visit the Mactinti-Ha
waterfall and the Cedros river
- Free time to swim and
stay in touch with nature
- Back to Lacan-Ha
- Lunch
- Continue to Palenque

Day 07:
08:00 hrs.
Palenque - San
Cristobal de las Casas
- Morning visit to
Palenque
archaeological zone, the greatest Mayan city, admire the superb
architecture and art from the main culture in Meso-America; in the complex
you will find structures such as the Temple of the Inscriptions, the
Palace, Temple of the Sun & Temple of the Moon among others. In Palenque archaeologists have registered more than 200 Temples still covered by the
jungle.

- Luch at Misol-Ha and
short visit to Agua Clara

and Zinacantan

Early morning
start the walk city tour seeing the main buildings
as: The
Indian market, Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman unique in Mexico
because its altar facade, the Cathedral, Arco del Carmen...
- Then drive to the nearby Indian
community of San
Juan Chamula,
the most traditional Mayan town; observation of the costumes, rituals and
ceremonies practiced by the natives with influence of catholic elements.

Continue
to Zinacantan, place of bats, a Maya-Tzoltzil town
where we visited families
to see the daily work of the women who make crafts in the loom, we
tasted the traditional drink called posh own rituals and celebrations,
visited the church and the chapel of the authorities.
- Back to
San Cristobal de las Casas.
