Mexico Eco Tour Jungle Adventure
(6 Days)

Day 01:

• Departure from San Cristobal at 05:30 hrs. towards Montebello Lakes to have breakfast (sandwiches, fruits and beverages)

• After breakfast we continue to the indigenous village of Amatitlan to take motor boat through Santo Domingo river and jungle, admiring different species of flora and regional fauna such us crocodiles, iguanas, turtles, birds and others

• Arrival to the community of Emiliano Zapata to take a break and have lunch

• Start a hike of 8 kilometers (1 hour and 30 minutes approximately) and arrive to the biggest lake into the State of Chiapas, Laguna Miramar

• Rest of the afternoon free to walk, to appreciate the nature or swim, in the night at convenient time dinner and later overnight sleeping in tents

Day 02: 07:30 hrs.
Miramar Lagoon

• Breakfast at 7:30 and departure from the camp at 08:30 a.m. and start an interesting padding boat ride (05 hours approximately)

• Having time to swim, to practice snorkel in beautiful reefs, to fish and to admire different species of flower and fauna species in danger of extinction such us white, gray and black eagles, white red-headed vultures, woodpeckers, toucans, gray and black squirrels, wild ducks, spider monkeys, howler monkeys.

• In the afternoon back to the camp, and have lunch, free time to walk in the surrounding area in company with native people, having the chance to see  local fauna

• At convenient time dinner and overnight in tents hearing the howling of the monkeys, birds singing and other animals and insects of the jungle.

Day 06: 9:00 hrs
Lacan-ha River, Mactuni-ha, Palenque

• Start with the rafting at Lacan-ha river, row during one hour in the first part where there are different small water falls, less of one meter high and some of them 2.50 meters high grade of difficulty III

• Continue to row one hour more until the place to leave the raft and starting to walk visiting the unexplored archaeological site of Lacan-ha, water fall of Mactuni-ha, time to rest and swim

• Return to the camp side, continuation to Palenque with lunch on the road

• End of the tour.
