Alamos is a colonial city situated 53 km to the east of Navojoa in the State of Sonora, Mexico.

Alamos was founded in the XVII century.

 Among its main attractions are:

The Purisima Concepcion Parish, built in the XVIII century, with a baroque-style facade

The Chapel, built in the XIX century, which has a choir made of wood

The Municipal Palace

The Plaza de Armas with its kiosk

The Los Portales Hotel, which was built in the last century

The Antique Hospital

The Old Government Palace

Local artisans of Alamos sell handicrafts made of wood, palm leaf,
brass and glass.
