  • Celebration in honor to Santa Maria de la Asuncion A big celebration takes place on the eve of the feast day of Santa Maria de la Asuncion every August, with fireworks, cultural events and a great artisan and food fair.

Local crafts include rustic cloth bearing local designs, carved wood, leather goods, clay pots and other household items. The Regional Cuisine Rainbow trout, abundant the Rio Blanco community, is among the characteristic foods of Peñamiller as well as pork and dried beef dishes.
