Coba is an important archaeological site in
the State
of Quintana Roo located in the southeastern part of Mexico.
Coba is connected to the rest of Quintana
Roo state by a zacbe
or a system of ceremonial roads.
A stone cylinder weighing
approximately 5 tons was found near the Coba surroundings and was probably used for
levering the sacred roads.

interesting work of three architectural groups:
