Laguna Chankanab
 

Laguna Chankanab (lagoon) is located 220 km from Chetumal via highway 293 in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico.

This lagoon lies in one of the many national parks Mexico has to offer; the Chankanab Park. It has clean waters and is the habitat of a great variety of aquatic species.

In the Chankanab park you can find large gardens, a rustic spa with dressing rooms, palapas, spits for roasting and a restaurant specializing in seafood as well as regional dishes.

The area around is ideal for those wishing to practice duck and pigeon hunting.
