The
Eneagram or “ map of the human nature” gives
us the opportunity to get to know ourselves, our way of thinking, feeling
and acting, which might help us transform our lives, through being capable
of identifying and analyzing our own type of personality.
Each
experience we live is influenced, either positively or negatively, by the
type of personality each one of us has. Personality is a part of our life.
The
study and application of the Eneagram allows
us to improve our own selves and to better understand the others, thus
making our relationships with others better.
People
who have studied the Eneagram enter a process
of self reflection and observation of their personalities, with the effects
the latter has had and in their lives. Thus finding the way to reinforce their
virtues and knowing how to detect the vulnerability we are all exposed to
and which leads us to react negatively towards ourselves and those around us.
The Eneagram allows us to be more aware of “who we are” and “what the
others are like”.
This
experience means a real change in the life of the one who assumes the
responsibility of his/her own personal growth, enjoys the benefit of it and
shares it with those who surround him/her.
