Only 90 minutes from Mexico City, in the state of Morelos, just off the recently completed super highway to Acapulco, a cobble-stoned promenade lined with statuesque Royal Palms leads us into the sixteenth century, by way of a magnificent Hacienda named San Gabriel, which is now a small but very exclusive hotel, surrounded by lush vegetation and blessed by a constant all-year round warm climate.

The main building was constructed in 1529 under the orders of Hernan Cortes.

The stone walls which support immense cannon vaults have been painstakingly and meticulously restored over the years to give each corner an atmosphere of serenity.

But, much more than a hotel, it is the residence of refined Mexican taste where you will feel more comfortable than at home.

 There are several activities within the Hacienda premises. There are two swimming pools to choose from
 

You can play volleyball, badminton, tennis and paddle tennis, or you can
go horse-back riding to the wells or just enjoy the one mile ride around
the premises of the Hacienda.
