All this is complete with a balanced and varied nutrition, and the magnificent view of Shambhala restaurant where the exigent palates can taste delicious food made by expert hands.

The facilities are mainly of clay, to obtain the warmth of this material born from
our land. All its colors are a true copy of the natural surrounding and the subsoil of the
hotel is rich in ferrite (a mineral that helps
our mental performance, according to the
most recent studies on neuroconscience).

The view is unsurpassable. We can see the Tepozteco mountain range where the famous head and body of Quetzalcoatl can be seen. The dusks play with its colors and light, and the shadows in the marvelous silhouettes of the mountains subtly draw cities and
sculptures that make us feel like in
some other dimension.

Occasionally, the moon will come out little by little behind the mountains, and during the rain seasons, the flashes of lightning and water will fill your body with energy and ozone.

The town of Amatlan has some gifts for us, like walking in silence through the woods,
contemplating the cave paintings, and visiting the reservoir of Quetzalcoatl.

Temazcal
Prehispanic steam bath which uses aromatic herbs
to detoxify mind and soul. “Temazcalli” means
“bath house” in nahuatl. This purifying ritual has
been used in Aztec, Mayan, Olmec and Zapotec cultures, among many others around the world.
In this magic area we penetrate the womb of our
land and through a purifying ceremony preceded by
a genuine shaman of Amatlan town our body will
get rid not only of toxins, but also of those emotions that break the physical and spiritual balance. 

Ashram (Meditation Centre)
In the middle of the Tlamalizcalli there is the
ashram (from the Sanskrit: “place where knowledge
is given”). It is a perfect oratory designed according to sacred geometry. Under its magnificent vault the energy grows making it easier to reach high conscience phases and intense meditation.
At the ashram entrance there are symbols of every religion and inside there are Tibetan, Indian, and Mesoamerican instruments useful to increase mental concentration. This is a place that includes and respects likewise every religion of the world. 

La Luz Garden
In the middle of this huge garden there is an exact replica of the French Chartres Cathedral labyrinth. This is the third replica in the world, but the only one built over an octagonal pyramid. To walk consciously through this labyrinth is an unsurpassable experience.

Inside La Luz garden we find a Maracuya Tunnel in which the “passion fruit” hangs naturally, ready for you to try it. Then you will find a Zen garden to meditate. Very close to this Zen garden you will arrive to the Spiral Palapa. There you can get to know several medicine plants

La Luz Garden is a perfect triangle. In its base there are the labyrinth and the vegetables mandala. We invite you to know this outstanding vegetable sown in a high vibration area. We recommend you to lie down in the grass to hear the artificial stream that runs across every chakra.

The first chakra is in the triangle vertex, that of land. It is shown by an Indian tulip tree. The second one –water chakra- is formed by a fish reservoir. The third one, the fire one, is represented by a sacred copal tree. The fourth one is a ficus religious similar to the one that witnessed the illumination of Buda. Further on you will arrive to the fifth chakra, which is a bubble that emulates the sound of the throat, and the sixth one is a blue octagon that represents the “third eye”. Finally, the seventh one is the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth, the end of this wonderful tour

 Shambhala Restaurant
We can show off that its architectural design is unique. Its vault is difficult to be found somewhere else, and even more its door, which comes from the Pashaguati old Indian temple. The surroundings are minimalist and, in the middle, the onyx fountain
of yin and yang reminds you that we will achieve the totality once we find in every one of us the completeness of both genders. The minimalist style has the intention of not distracting your attention from the extraordinary 180 degrees view while you wait for your dishes prepared by the expert hands of the chef and the cooks from the region.
 

At nights, on Saturdays, you will enjoy a holistic or alternative music live concert.
