San Juan Teotihuacan

Eleven kilometers from Acolman in the State of Estado de Mexico, Mexico; is located the small town San Juan Teotihuacan which main attraction is its little convent founded in 1548. There are also two spas.

Only two kilometers from this place is found the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, one of the most important in the Americas. Its name is translated as "The Place where Men Become Gods".

Among its main constructions are:

• The Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon

• The Temple of Quetzalcoatl and Tlaloc

• The Palace of the Butterfly Quetzal

• The Palace of the Jaguars

• The Citadel

• The museum

Only 5 km from San Juan Teotihuacan is found the Convent of Oxtotipac, built in the XVI century, distinguished from the rest of the Colonial religious constructions because of its small dimensions.
