.The National Park of the Nevado de Toluca volcano is located 110 km from Mexico City via federal highway 134 and the state highway 10 which take you to the crater of the volcano; in the State of Estado de Mexico, Mexico. In this crater there are two lagoons, the Sun and Moon Lagoons, where some archaeological remains were found. On the slopes of the volcano is located the Park of Los Venados, an ideal place for weekends with a lodging and 2 hotels.
