Calixtlahuaca
 

.Calixtlahuaca is located 74 km from Mexico City by the federal highways 15 and 55 in the State of Estado de Mexico, Mexico.

Calixtlahuaca is an archaeological site of the Matlazinca Culture. Among its main constructions are:

  • The Temple dedicated to Ehecatl Quetzalcoatl

  • The Temple of Tlaloc

  • The Wall of Skulls

  • The Calmecac

Five kilometers west of Calixtlahuaca is found the picturesque town of Almoloya de Juarez, which has a spring with a line that divides the water, it also has a little
chapel and gardens.
