Colima City is the capital of the State of Colima, Mexico; and is 224 km south of Guadalajara on Federal Highway 54.

Near Colima, only 22 km to the southeast, is the Spa El Herridero, with thermal springs and the Niños Heroes de Chapultepec Park.

The main festival of Colima City is celebrated in November.
