Guerrero

The term “generosity” is very extensive in regards to Guerrero in Coahuilathe applications that we can give it. However, the village of Guerrero illustrates it with precision.

With natural bodies of water, apt for cattle and goat raising, this village holds the distinction of having the best examples of white-tail deer on its hunting ranches. His torically, it has been known as the “Land of Generals” since figures of such high ranks as generals and governors have been born here. The tranquility of its municipal seat is enhanced by the precious Ecologico Park and the San Juan Bautista Park, built in 1780. However, what is most abundant in this community is its hospitality to share a delicious goat and its original machacado (crushed meat).

San Bernardo Mission, The Franciscana de Rio Grande del Norte Mission complex was key in the colonization of the towns near the Rio Bravo. This baroque style building was built in 1702 by Capitan Diego Ramon. As a last testament to the mission, a folkloric show of lights and dance is presented over the course of a year. Click Here
