If
you had to describe the image of Coahualia with one wo rd, it would surely
be the following: multifaceted. In 1690 this municipality it was the mission
of San Bernardino de la Candela. Then, in 1774, it became to town of San
Carlos de Candela. In 1890, it look the name of Romero Rubio before finally
setting on its current name. In the same way that is history has been
multifaceted, so is the face that it shows its visitors. Dedicated to the
cultivation of beans, corn, sorghum, and nuts, Candela offers unique places
like the Gruta de Candela whit its caves, large spaces, and underground
rivers with aquatic species; the thermal springs of Los Carricitos with its
pools, La Mesa de Catujanos hill with its singular plateau, and its old
train station. We could continue with the list, but decided that is should
be you who completes it when you make the decision to say: Let's go to
Candela!
