It
was in 1832 when this municipality received its
current name. Ever since then, it has been seen as it is today: a happy
place characterized by its inhabitant’s tenacity for working and providing
for themselves. Examples of this are the cactus growers, as well as the
broccoli, onion, radish, cilantro and cauliflower growers. The festive tone
of this town shapes the numerous festivals that the townspeople organize
throughout the year for whatever reason they can find. Among them, the
parades on horseback during the month of October stand out. It’s not
surprising that this place possesses a complete hotel and restaurant
infrastructure. There, sample some of the goat, enchiladas or caramel with
walnuts. Know that no matter in which season you choose to visit, the
“region of five springs” is going to receive you with music and smiles.
